SPECIAL COMMANDS for BLOCK operations
══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════
(Alt)-B
Mark the current line as the start of BLOCK. The
BLOCK is displayed in HI-lighted mode.
(Alt)-N
Terminates the BLOCK. A second (Alt)-N may be
used to enlarge or reduce the BLOCK as the case
maybe. Positioning the end of BLOCK above the
start of BLOCK will delete the BLOCK.
(Alt)-Y
Delete a marked area or a BLOCK, see (Alt)-B, how
to create a BLOCK.
(Alt)-C
Copies a marked area or a BLOCK before the current
line. The copied BLOCK will be the new BLOCK. see
(Alt)-B, how to create a BLOCK.
(Alt)-V
Moves a marked area or a BLOCK before the current
line. see (Alt)-B, how to create a BLOCK.

(Alt)-W
Writes the marked area or a BLOCK to another FILE.
The name of the FILE will be requested. Enter the
full PATHname of the file as the case may be.
SPECIAL COMMANDS for LINE operations
(Alt)-J
Join the next line onto the current one at the
end. All lines are truncated to 80-characters
long, so care must be exercised in joining lines.
(Alt)-minus
Split the current line into two parts at the
cursor position. At column one this adds a new
lines before the current one
(Alt)-K
Erase the rest of the line starting at the current
cursor position. If current position equals first
column position, then delete the whole line.

(Alt)-X
Delete characters before the current cursor
position.
(Alt)-I
Add a line before the current line.
(Alt)-D
Delete the current line.
(Alt)-M
Move to another line position within the buffer.
The new position line number will be requested.
(Alt)-P
PRINT the Buffer or Screen on the Line Printer.
(Ctl)-end
Move to the absolute END of file.

SPECIAL COMMANDS for PATTERN SEARCH/REPLACE operations
(Alt)-F
Start search for a particular pattern. The string
pattern will be requested.
(Alt)-A
Start search for a particular pattern and replace
it with the replacement string. The string pattern
will be requested, as well as the replacement
string. The editor reconfirms whether the change
is to be made or not.
(Alt)-L
Continue the pattern search as started by the
previous (Alt)-F or (Alt)-A instructions.
